David talks about his time working for both Amazon and Microsoft and experiencing the difference of a company that builds the technology around the customer and a company that build the customer around the technology.

David also talks about the best ways to exit a start-up and knowing when to leave and knowing how to turn the actual start-up into the product for the big buyers. He also talked about his experience celebrating after each of his four exits and how each became less and less exciting and special.
